Recently
a number of Georgia architect/engineers have specified that at least
one ACI certified flatwork finisher must be assigned to a given construction
project. Certification requires passage of a two-hour closed
book written examination, plus a number of work
experience requirements. Those individuals with insufficient work experience, or those individuals,
whose involvement with concrete flatwork is that of supervisor or
inspector, may on satisfactory completion of the written examination
be certified as Concrete Flatwork Technician.
